Water Circuit Rider Position Available

The Tennessee Association of Utility Districts (TAUD) is seeking a self-motivated person for the position of Water Circuit Rider in Middle TN. Candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of five years experience and technical knowledge in water treatment operations and maintenance
  • Experience in water system management and budgeting
  • The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with operators, decision makers, regulatory agencies and other professionals
  • A knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations, monitoring, and other requirements
  • A willingness to travel extensively

  • Monitor customer pricing to set appropriate sales targets for assigned territory.

  • Hold regular performance reviews/discussions with Route Sales Drivers to improve/manage job performance to create knowledgeable, engaged and productive employees.
  • Produce and submit Branch Reports to allow for detailed analysis of Branch territory objectives.
  • Provide active participation in professional association meetings/conferences when necessary.
  • Business processes reviewed and or revised to increase efficiency and productivity leading to reduced operating expenses.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma. Two years post high school education a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous materials endorsement
  • Good driving record with no alcohol/drug related traffic violations within the last 3 years
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to lift over 50 pound bags and move up to 700 pound drums
  • Must pass company pre-employment substance abuse check.
